Is it possible to find the location of the following
Mavis Pickering died 24th December 1937 born 1923
Thomas William Pickering died June 1948
Lillian Pickering died December 1947
They were buried together as I have the receipt for the plots when they were purchased. They would be buried in Ashby Road Cemetry, Hinckley.
I also intend to contact the local council.
Many thanks
Nicola

Hi Please find location plan below.
The Pickerings are buried in the second row of section 13, 6th or 7th grave from the right. There are plenty of gravestones in that location so hopefully you will be lucky.
All the best

Greeting’s Again. ……
Couple of tips. …….
Take a piece of white caulk with you
Put a small cross on the back of the headstones which you look at
That way you don’t get confused as which ones you have looked at. …….
Some stonemasons engrave the plot No’. on the headstone
either on the back or one of the sides
At the bottom at ground level. ….

Hello hope you don't mind me replying to this thread but my great nan was buried in plot 233 section 13 of ashby road cemetery so you have helped me locate her, i would just like to say thank you.
Living down south means that I cannot just pop over to search for the grave randomly (if there is even a headstone or such still there i have never been) so knowing actually where the plot is is a great help when i do visit :)
