Hi Shellmex
depending on how much and how accurately known was the informant, you will / should get:
Date and place of death
Name and occupation
Sex and age
Cause of death and duration of illness and when last seen by med. practitioner
Name and occupation of father; name and maiden surname of mother
Name of informant and relationship to deceased
Particulars of registration (date, etc)
When and where buried, name of undertaker
Name & religion of minister, names of witnesses of burial
Where born; if not in Australia, how long in Australia
Place of marriage, age, and to whom
Names and ages of children
Unless you need an actual certificate for legal purposes, it is cheaper to get a transcription and also quicker. It can be emailed to you. Particulars of transcription agents are on the Aust. resources board. Be sure you give them the reference number.
