Does anybody know if Our lady's parish, has good records mid to late 1800, my family Carroll were in the area for census of 1901 & 1911 I believe some of them were married there and had families, my grandmother died young (in Wexford town) buried in Ballymore cemetery)1935 and her family moved to Tipperary as my grandfather was from there. I believe her father thomas and mother Mary may have been from the area as they lived with his parents in The Churchtown area of Tacumshin
any help would be appreciated
Apologies for the terrible spelling mistakes in the 1st edition of this post.

Update to above
Thomas born 1871, Broadway, father Peter, mother Mary Ennis according to Census Peter born 1817 Mary 1825ish don't know where.
Thomas married Mary Keane b 1875/76 (father William) in 1899 in Tacumshin, several possibilities for Mary's Birth some in Kilrush, another in Kilmallock (what part of the co in this in, couldn't find it on map).

Historic records for Lady's Island RC parish go back to 1737 for baptisms, and 1753 for marriages, although there are several gaps. These are available to view in the National Library on microfilm reference Pos. 4244
.....another in Kilmallock (what part of the co in this in, couldn't find it on map).
There's a townland name Kilmallock in a Wexford civil parish with the same name. It's located about 5km east of Oilgate.

Think the Kilmallock that shows up from Wexford is actually a Reg District in Co Limerick and Kilrush likewise for Co Clare. A Mary Eleanor Kane was born on 19th may 1877 with father William and mother Mary in Traceyshower, Wexford. Marriage is registered as Keane but there is a William and Mary Kane in 1901 census.

Hi goblet
Im a Carroll and I grew up in Churchtown Tacumshin.
I have a copy of all the Carroll parish records from Our Ladies Island church.
Thomas and Mary are in the records along with others.
It gives Thomas's father's name as Peter but on the census it's given as Thomas.
I have a lot of information and lots of photos of the Carrolls.
Most still live in the area.
The Carrolls from Churchtown are related to the Carrolls from Sigginstown which is beside Churchtown.
