Title: help with Glasgow street name
Post by: demented on Saturday 25 February 12 10:57 GMT (UK)
My grandmother was born in 1893 in Clyde Street Port Dundas.
Have checked the street name change site which says it becameTayport Street. That street is not in present Glasgow map.
I realise it's a long shot because of the many changes in Glasgow but am hoping someone can  give me some ideas to help me find out what it is now.

Thanks Margaret

Hi Margaret
If you put "Corn Street" into Streetmap, Tayport Street would have been in the gap between Civic St and the motorway.

Just north of Dobbies Loan, looks like it is under the west bound M8 motorway
