Hi,
My records indicate that St Bartholomew, Wimslow, Cheshire and Cathederal, Manchester, Lancs are the main centres of occupation for this surname.
It also turns up in Denton & Gorton, Lancs; Liddington, Beds; Beguildy & Llanbister, Radnorshire & Cardiff, Glamorgan.
