Thanks for looking Sancti. is there any other graveyards being used in the area in around 1890. i know there were miners and poor. Also were is the best place to get MI lists or search them?

Carnwath churchyard was also used
MI's will only be relevant if there was a headstone
South Lanarkshire Council cemeteries office may have records back to that date which will identify where he is buried
You could also try Lanarkshire Family History Society

Thanks Sancti just thought i would let you know about the post i made back in February.got a positive location on the burial plot for patrick doyle 1890. looks like he was one of the first in the wilson town grave yard. first plot its unmarked plot and has another three people in it!. i got this information from very helpful staff from lanarkshire council who found a old map for the cemetery as there was no MI pointing to his location. again thankyou for point me to the right location.
