Hi i am in need of a look up for the follwing family

Thomas Bayley (could be under bailey, bayly or baily too)
born 1811 Betley, newcastle under lyme staffs. He was an Ag Lab

Wife Mary born 1811 madeley (staffs possibly)

i am in need of knowing all their children in 1841 in order to find my ggg grandmother (possibly named Jane) who had an illegitamate child called Thomas bayley in 1847 (my gg grandfather)

any help would be really appreciated. you are all stars!

Just did a quick lookup and there isn't an 1841 census for Thomas and Mary. However i did find something on Genanet website which shows Thomas had three wives/partners... If this information is correct... He was married to Elizabeth before 1830 and must be in the 1841 census and the children were Ellen b. 1830 William b. 1832 Samuel b. 1832 Elizabeth b. 1836 Barbara b. 1839 and Mary b. 1841.  It then lists that he was with Mary and they had Thomas in 1848 then after Mary it was Ellen nee *Stubbs* and doesn't show any children.

I looked on GRO as well and there is a record for a Thomas Bayley born in Mar quarter of 1847 in Newcastle under Lyme. No mothers maiden name and I did see a post saying this can mean the child was illegitimate... no idea how true this is.

There is a death for an Elizabeth Bayley in the Jun Quarter of 1842
I can't see any other marriages for him...

I took screen shots not sure they are allowed on here so if you message me i can send them on that i think. Not used Roots for a while.
