trying to find info on james brown,belive he was born in bethnal green 1889 approx his father was thomas.
james married elizabeth maude everett in 1909 in newport mon,thomas shows as deceased on marriage certificate,think thomas was a master plasterer.there is talk that james family were and still are barrel boys in bethnal green area. please if you can help would be gratefull.
 i also belive james 2nd name was henry.

thank you so much for your help i know james was married in newport in1909 but didnt know his father had died until i got their marriage certificate, what census are they on please,

Hi Rachael, as you would imagine trying to find a James Brown is not the easiest of searches to carry out!

This is at present is the only likely James I have located in 1901:-

James Brown 13 occ Scholar b Parish Not Known, London
Residing Upton House, Truant School, Urswick Road, Homerton N E, Hackney.
Census Ref RG13/221/112/2

Also if the Charles = Thomas, then it seems unlikely he would still be around in 1901?

this one is a real mystery found the baptism for him but cant find him or parents anywhere else i know he was living in newport qwent 1911 with elizabeth and their son but thats it rachael
