Title: Georgeham - HANCOCK and PHILLIPS
Post by: County Girl on Saturday 18 February 12 17:39 GMT (UK)
John Phillips married Johanna Han(g)cock in 1802 in Georgeham.  They moved to Woolwich, Kent in about 1808.  I wonder if they had any children in Georgeham before then, and also I would like to find information about their parents.  I'd love to hear if anyone else is following these lines.

There are 5 public trees on ancestry.com with this couple.  The Carr-Mcloughlin tree has parents of John but not Joanna. There are 8 children, Thomas being the first born in 1804.
There are some sources and photographs.

Georgeham registers are available on the IGI batch no C050601, but no children were recorded to John & Johanna that I could find.

That's very useful, thank you both.  I didn't know about Thomas in 1804.  I will investigate further!
