Title: Robert AGNESS about 1750 Suffolk.
Post by: somtree on Saturday 18 February 12 17:26 GMT (UK)
Can anyone help me trace the birth and marriage details of Robert Agness. I have a date of birth as 1750 but I am not sure where this came from. I believe he married a  ? possibly in Long Melford. Children of this marriage include Catherine 1785 and Samuel 1788 were both born in Long Melford. As the oldest child was born in 1785 it would make Robert 35 yrs old which seems a bit old so therefore his birth date maybe nearer 1765.

Thank you Sue. You have been a great help. If you come across Robert Agnes parents in Long Melford I think I would be happy to draw a line there.

When I lived in Long Melford, one of the walks I did with daughter in pram was from Long Melford to Liston, across the river.  It's only a little way.  :D
