Title: Port Chalmers street numbering
Post by: Gwenn02 on Wednesday 15 February 12 04:08 GMT (UK)
Hello,

I have this entry in NZ electoral 1881 -
Property qualification: Port Chalmers, house, section 85, Scotia street.

Section 85 - what is the correspondance with current street numbering - how to find it and especially where ?????

:-)

I tried and it is not very accurate
and my point also was to know if section 85 means a street number or a cadastral number

Use the online rating pages
http://www.dunedin.govt.nz/services/rates-information/rates

the webmaps are great
No 7 scotia Street is labelled as Section 85 if you use the cadastral view option
