Couple of interesting pics on Google images from what looks like the 1950s. Suspect the area was 'transformed' soon after - Tennant Street was quite residential but is now very city centre, off the main pub/club strip on Broad Street and opposite the Convention Centre, National Indoor Arena. I was going to recommend teh Birmingham History Forum but looks like you're already on there looking!

Yes I'm also searching on the Birmingham History Site.
I will look on Google images and see if I can find them.
Thankyou

As an afterthought there was a big bus garage on Tennant Street - in case your rellies had anything to do with the buses.

Hi,
My Grandmother owned the sweet shop which was on the corner of Tennant street, Number 20 .
But over the years my relatives on both sides lived in houses on Tennant Street.
:o)
I found one picture on google.
