Hullo Carol and welcome to rootschat :)

As cardiff says, can you be more specific please.

Also, can you give some full names, dates etc.

Cardiff..  Sorry I don't understand what you are trying to say?

If anyone is interested or have connection to those names...  then yes..

I am assuming this is ok?   am I doing it wrong?  Please, if you are in charge please tell me...  only I don't understand what you mean.

Hi
No you are not doing it wrong at all.
Just when info is not asked for in detail... we always ask so we know that we have helped all we can or we have not misunderstood what you are looking for . So thats why I asked if you need to find these people on the census or their birth marriage or death.
as its you dont want to find them you want anyone to contact you who may have interest in thoes names
always willing to help
cheers cardiff ;)

My father has gone back to the late 1700s, early 1800s in some parts without computer input, I was seeing who was around on this media forum, which as you can see, we are new to.
I am sure at ome point, I'll be asking in depth questions but, I just want to find my feet here first.

Carole, Why not check on the rootschat Surnames board  to see if anyone else here is researching your name.  Top of this page, 4th button from left, "Surnames".
