Title: Shute/Shoot/Shutte/Shutt Family
Post by: Georgiec on Saturday 14 May 05 10:10 BST (UK)
I am researching the Shute family in Montgomeryshire.  I am looking for any information on an Edward Shute who was married to Margaret.  I believe Margaret came from Berriew and Edward from Llandyssil.  Edward was born c1803 and Margaret c1805.  Children Samuel, Thomas and Ann.  On 1841 census name spelt Shutt and living next to a Martha and Esther Shutte who may be relatives.  Do these names ring any bells with anyone.

Georgina,

The name(s) also appear in the 1861 census.  Let me know if you would like the details.

Hi

I am also looking at the Shutt's of Montgomeryshire in particular Llandinam and a little earlier than yours.  Just wondering how you went recognising your post is a while back.
