Hi Dai in the 1841 census there is a Barbara Thomas living in Bonvilston born 1876, she is living with her 20 year old daughter Mary, I believe Bonvilston and Pentrych are very close together, so possibly she is your Barbara
Best Wishes Bethan

Hi Dai
There's a copy of the will of William Thomas on the National Library of Wales site http://hdl.handle.net/10107/827118. It mentions five children - Evan, Iseiah, Mary, Noah and Martha, a brother John and his wife Barbara.
Best wishes
Ruth
