Title: Valentines Card age?
Post by: Leyther1 on Friday 10 February 12 15:37 GMT (UK)
Dear All
I know this is perhaps not strictly genealogy, but I have come across this old card pressed with a ribbon inside an old family bible that has come back from restoration.

It measures as a card 8cm x 17cm and is made up from a piece of paper folded into 4.  On the back printed it says FORGET ME NOT  VP-100-4 code 10.

From the style of picture, does anyone have an idea of its age?
I am quite intrigued .

Thank you
Lorraine

I'll take a gamble guess, that the card is likely late 1940's of 1950's.  The hat style is kind of a give away, for those years.

Many thanks - I had thought even 1920,s as I suppose it was meant to be "saucy", then thought could it even b 196o's?
Maybe 1940's could fit as I bet the bible hadn't been touched since then..

Cheers

My first thought was 1950s maybe early 60s,I thought shecould've been inspired by Marilyn Monroe  :-\
