Title: Evan Fraser Hospital
Post by: Suffolksurfer on Tuesday 07 February 12 20:33 GMT (UK)
My family lost a little one at the Evan Fraser Hospital in 1910 on their way to Canada.  Could anyone tell me if the  deceased patients were cremated or buried (and if so, where)?  This child died  of small pox.

Thank you.

The Evan Fraser Hospital was located to the west of Sutton village.  Sutton didn't become part of Hull until the late 1920's so the records may not be in Hull.  Try the contact Carol gave if they don't have the information they may know who has.  You could also try the Hull History Centre.
