Searching any info re Elizabeth Blackburn died Ireland 1936. Don't know where she was born or anything of her family background, but she lived at "Three Trees" Londonderry and had 7 children with James.

You have posted this under England - will ask a mod to move it to Ireland.

Yes, sorry should have put Ireland. That is the correct family. My mother was the youngest born 1920. Any further info regarding Elizabeth's family background would be great thank you.

I've moved the thread to DONEGAL since that's where your Blackburn family lived. The 1911 census will give you some information about Elizabeth-
Age 31 so born c1880 in Co. Derry
Married 5 years so married James c1906 and had 1 child who died before 1911.
James Blackburn married Jan./Mar.1906 Londonderry registration district (volume 2 page 223) to Lizzie Jane Gilfillan. The marriage certificate will give you more details.
One possibility for Lizzie in 1901 census- but you'd need marriage certificate to confirm her father's name-

This is more likely to be Elizabeth Blackburn in 1901 census-
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Donegal/Three_Trees/Three_Trees/1190384/
"Administration of the estate of James L. Gilfillan late of Three Trees County Donegal Farmer who died 14 March 1902 granted at Londonderry to Elizabeth Gilfillan the Widow."
"Probate of the Will of Elizabeth Gilfillan late of Three Trees County Donegal Widow who died 8 November 1910 granted at Londonderry to John James Gilfillan Commission Agent and Elizabeth Jane Blackburn Married Woman."

Cheers :) :)

Could it be that Elizabeth was also "Maria". I have a Maria Thompson b. 1800 marrying John Gilfillan b 1795.
Thanks-

Elizabeth married in 1874

If she was your Maria she would have been at least 73 when she married.
Elizabeth had a child in 1875
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1875/03114/2141999.pdf
so she clearly wasn't in her 70s when she married.
