Title: John Bell of County Down
Post by: DMAC1 on Saturday 04 February 12 23:59 GMT (UK)
Hi, I was wondering if anyone ever heard of this man. I came across a will index that said John Bell, formerly of Killough, County Down Ireland b about 1824. He is my gr gr grandfather. I know he lived in England, I found him in alot of the census there up until his death in Nov 1890. He was married to a Catherine Bell b abt 1831 Ireland. Any information would be appreciated. I am going to send away for his death record, I'm hoping it will list who parents names.

Thank you!
Deb

Unfortunately English death certificates do not list parents' names.

Thank you for your assistance. I did look at that list and since I don't have his parents names I have no clue what to look for. I am disappointed to hear that his parents names wont be on his death record, Oh well this won't be the first brick wall I've hit. Again, thank you!!
