Hi,
I'm trying to find out more of my French ancestors time in London. My latest avenue of research has led me to believe
that my grandfather Louis Sahuc may have been living in Islington in London c.1934.
How would I find out where in London and with whom he was living.
There is some connection to the Stone family, I believe his mother was Beatrice Stone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have been asked these questions from a family member in Southern France

The Electoral Register for 1934 has a Louis Sahuc living at 194 Highbury Hill, Islington with the Calver family.

FreeBMD has a marriage in Sep qtr 1911, Wandsworth, 1d 1344, for a Louis SAHUC. One of the brides is a Beatrice M STONE.

There is a death of a Louis Andre SAHUC in Bradford, Yorkshire in 1985, which gives his birthdate of 29 Nov 1912, which would make him a good candidate for a son of Louis and Beatrice.
FreeBMD has a birth for a Louis SAHUE, Mar qtr 1913, Lambeth, 1d 503, mothers maiden name STONE, so does look like him. The image is smudged a bit so the last letter is a bit difficult to make out.
Electoral Rolls have a Louis SAHUE at 36 Percy St, St Pancras in 1937

FreeBMD has a birth for a Beatrice E SAHUE, Dec qtr 1911, Lambeth, 1d 546, mothers maiden name STONE. Probably should be SAHUC as well.

Louis Sahuc b1912 was an assistant steward in the merchant navy,,,serving on the Andalucia star in 1937. ;)

1911 Census - there is an entry for an Luigi Sahuc born 1881 in France in Westminster.
