Hi All

I am looking for my maternal grandparents - David and Isabella Wills
My parents were married in Aberdour in 1947.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi

Have you checked Scotlands People for your grandparents marriage?  Sight of their marriage cert will tell you their ages and the names of their respective parents.  It will also give you their mothers maiden name

What was Isabella's maiden name as that info will make it easier when looking for a marriage

unfortunately I know nothing about my grandmother as she died when my Mum was 17.

Hi

Your mums birth cert or your parents marriage cert will have her maiden name.  Unfortunately - there are several David Wills on the 1901 census who could be "the one" so Isabella's maiden name will help in determining the right entry

Thanks Carole - have now got a copy of Grandnother's death certificate so can can go from there,
