Title: 1966ish probate, Dublin
Post by: MAD87 on Thursday 02 February 12 11:00 GMT (UK)
I'm having great difficulty in finding out where a Dublin will proved (probably) in 1966 or 1967 would be filed. Neither the Probate Office nor the National Archives seems to be right, unless I've missed something.

Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Wills probated over 30 years (25 years according to the latest link shown in Taidquest's post below) ago should be held in the National Archives, more recent documentation would still be with the probate office. Probate was not a requirement so there may not be a public record of it

This link has a request form for copies of will records and also lists what is available.
