Hello,
I am hoping someone can provide assistance with a look up for St Michael's in Appleby, Westmorland. I have found a marriage for my ancestors Robert Baty, Clerk and Mary Wybergh on IGI for St Michael's, Appleby, Westmorland on the 26 November 1757.
Would it be possible for someone to look up the marriage record for witnesses and any other information? And if it is at all possible, a copy of the marriage record?
Thank you,
Thorby Walker

Hi
The marriage licence was granted on 9 Nov 1757:
groom: The Revd Robt Baty, curate of Appleby, single man, clerk
bride: Mary Wybergh of Battleborough, Bongate, spinster
bondsman: George Newton of Howgatefoot, ditto, gentleman
marriage to take place at Appleby or Bongate
Hope that helps and that you get your witnesses.
regards
Deborah

Hello,
Thank you so much Deborah. I really appreciate your help. Can I ask one more question - which Diocese the license was registered with?
You have given me more information than I had previously. I didn't know if they were married by licence or Banns. Again, Thank you.
Regards,
Thorby
