Title: MUIRHEAD family of Midlothian
Post by: True Cruiser on Friday 13 May 05 05:03 BST (UK)
I would be very interested in making contact with anyone researching the MUIRHEAD family in Midlothian. My oldest MUIRHEADs resided at St Cuthberts, Edinburgh; but later ones were found in: West Calder, Bathgate, Ratho& Currie.

My branch headed to Australia in the mid 1800's.

Donna Williams.

Hi, I have a line of Muirheads in my family tree between 1700-1900 - but they're all in East Lothian, so possibly unrelated?

Hi Ed,

difficult to know without a connection to Midlothian. I have a couple with names Robert Purdie & some Hughs as well.

Regards,
Donna.
