I am wondering if any kind person has access to Manchester cathedral records please?
I am looking for details of the following marriage:

Hello Mitmoor,
Unfortunately the Cathedral records on LOPC only go up to 1836. :'(
Thank you for your interest though. R.

If you found the marriage through the IGI index on Family search, it's possible that they didn't get married at the Cathedral but at a parish in the Manchester area. I found IGI records for members of my family that says the same but when I got a copy of the marriage certificate, the marriage took place in another church in the area.
If you have the 1861 census, have a look at the parish they are living in, this could be where they married. Just a thought, hope it helps.
