Looks like Princes Road

i agree Princes Road. It arches up from the north side of Regents Park (the actual park) towards the railway (see Google maps or similar).
As for who lived there in the 20's, the Electoral Rolls for that era are starting to go online with Ancestry. You cannot (currently) search by address, so having an idea who might be there might help unlock the question.

thank you both
would it have been considered a good address , wealth wise ?
im trying to find out what kind of area it was
ie tenements , working class , middle class ?

Obbie, I not an expert, but it looks quite reasonable (the building visible on Google Streetview looks to be older than the 1920's). It looks quite narrow compared to others I've seen in a similar style, so maybe middle class would cover it.
If you have a name for people you think might be living there, I can try to check for you if you'd like.
If you don't want to put there name(s) on the forum, PM me.

Although the images shows Princes Road, it's actually Princess Road.
According to the electoral register, (borough of Camden, South West St Pancras constituency, Chalk Farm Polling district Q ward 4) it's numbered 1-65 odd and 2-44 evens.
The buildings usually contain more than 1 family unit of eligible voters, ie 2 or 3 families in one dwelling.
In 1922, there are 6 eligible voters there - 4 Holland's, 2 Hovells

They're still there in 1928.
