Hi,
How far is garvock from St Cyrus Please?? i have  a person born in Garvock 1800's, later say they were born in St Cyrus (although one of their sisters were). perhaps it covers the same area ?? ???

Garvock Parish is to the north of St Cyrus Parish , with Benholm Parish to the east

Garvock is three and a half miles north of St Cyrus on the B9120.  If you use google maps then street view you can actually see the area.  Garvock is now reduced to two or three farms.  I don't know if you have used 'scotlandspeople' but I was able to download a copy of the parish registers for this area for the marriage of William Christie and Margaret Muckart on 5th June 1813
