emma palmer born 1869 clee st margarets.(.my great grandmother) married a james pritchard c.1900...this appears to be a mystery to my family...emma's daughter(my grandmother) died in 1948..no one has ever mentioned the pritchard family...i know they had a daughter ,emma or alice,born c.1901...any clues out rhere?

The census Pauline has found is the only one I could see but it is John E not James  :-\

This looks like the marriage that ties in with that couple

thanks rosie and pauline...i seem to remember them being at atcham at some time..and listed in the 1901 census i think at maddeley?  my grandmother was 11 at that time and is listed as "niece"....

The 1891 Harriett is living with her Palmer grandparents RG12/2083 f25 p12  
her place of birth is Munslow  ;)

You will need to look the family up on the 1911 for details of the family after 1901. Sorry, we can't do lookups on that census.

Stuart....i know my grandmother died in 1948...but i have no idea what happened to emma after 1911 when she was 11...nobody in my family appears to have known there was another family ie my grandmothers half sister emma..
