Hello
I am trying to find information about William Jevons (b.1815) and his family.
I can't find his parents or his name in the 1841 census.
He appears in the 1851,1861 then nothing. - May have died not sure as can't find record.
Have him married to Elizabeth Stewart b. 1818.
And their Marriage about 1835. Alternative marriage date is 1846.
3 Known Children:
Abraham 1839
Hannah 1845
James UNKNOWN (he's in 1951 with no date recorded for his birth).
Anyone with any information about this family will be helping to solve a great family mystery.

Hi Jazbell84,
Lets back up a bit here.
Do you have Abraham/Janes Marriage Cert?
Where did you get the name of Elizabeth Stewart as his Mother?

Thank you to everyone for your replies.
I have been only looking for Jevons without other variations uptill now as i got the names from my Great Grandfather then did my own research into what i cold find to back up his story.
When i started looking a few months ago The marriage between William and elizabeth STEWARD was the only marriage i could find that was close to the date. I didn't mention where i got that info from (i usually mark everything so i can find it again) this one must of slipped through. I assume it would of come from fndmypast as i started looking there in the beginning.
I am also not a member of ancestry so alot of records are unavailable to me.
i haven't ordered any certificates yet due to money restraints yet i know it'd give me the best information. So i just check and double check find as many records as i can to support the information and go from there.
First names i stake as fact since they come from my Great grandfather who's mind is still as sharp as a tack, the last name of Elizabeth was the only one to marry a Jevons (without a name variation).
In saying that checking info today i did find a possible birth for Abraham Jeavons when looking at original copy the 'a' is crossed out.

Elizabeth Steward is the 1846 marriage in Kidderminster where a possible spouse is William Jevons.
