I've just looked for Bray/Dray/Gray Lane in the 1861 census.....no results.    :(

There's a Drury Lane in the parish of St Mary le Strand.  ???

In 1851 a William Higginbottom, hairdresser, is living at 90 Drury Lane, Parish of St Mary le Strand.
He has a son, Thomas, who is also a hairdresser.

JenB, accept what you have found of course, but that first capital did not look like  D...to me  it has no definite vertical down stroke for the back of the D. ;D

Good that's solved for Reggie.

The 'vertical' is in the middle, I think. The left-hand bit of the letter is a rather extravagent loop.
