LIncolnshire Police still have a cricket team - so might be worth contacting the force
http://www.lincs.police.uk/
to enquire if they can assist with any information re the photo/trophy?

Sorry John, all I can add is that A W KETTLEBOROUGH was born in 1915.

He was awarded the Queen's Police Medal in the 1962 birthday honours list. :)

The photo was taken prior to 1955 when I worked in the Information Room at the old County Police HQ. Det.Inspector Kettleborough was a great friend of the Lincoln City football manager Bill Anderson. The HQ  cricket team played on a ground to the east of the City, I believe somewhere along the Wragby Road.  The trophy may be the Police inter-divisional trophy.  549 Ron Ward
