There's a Hannah Simpson, aged 76, whose death was registered in September 1896 at Mile End. (Info comes from freebmd.) Perhaps the person you are searching for?

Hi Rod,
The above death for Hannah Simpson took place on the 11th July 1896.
The cause of death appears to be 'morbus cordis' which would be heart disease. Followed by 'angina pectoris'.
Kind regards,
Pels.

Hi
How have you proved that Hannah Simpson aged 51 widow born Tottenham and living in Tottenham on the 1871 census RG10 1338 folio 115, a laundress, is the Hannah Simpson aged 60 born London Widow, lodger and seamstress living in Mile End Old Town on the 1881 census RG11 473 folio 94. Why not this Hannah Simpson in 1881 who on the 1871 census was living in St George in the East and then aged 51, born London, a needlewoman and in 1871 married. RG10 536 folio 77. Mile End Old Town and St George in the East are very close.

Yes a good point
If it was not my Hannah SIMPSON on the 1881 census she may well have died 1874 aged 54 at Islington ?
