Title: Samuel Locker and Isabella Hill
Post by: madpants on Tuesday 10 January 12 01:05 GMT (UK)
I've just found this marriage on the family search site

Samuel Locker
Isabella Hill
09 Jan 1750
Westminster, Middlesex, England

What I already know is that James Locker Mohun was born in Stockton on Tees in 1828 (Bish. Trans)  to George A Mohun and Hannah.
George Armstrong Moughn was born in 1800 to George Moughn (MMN Armstrong) and Mary Locker (BT) they married in Stockton in 1792.

Also from Bishops Transcripts, Samuel Locker died Stockton 1793 and Isabella Locker widow of Samuel Locker Fisherman died Dec 1802 aged 78 years.

It's a bit of a leap from Middlesex to Stockton but George A was 2nd son, first was Robert Hill Moughn, do you think this is the right marriage? and is it possible to find a birth in the Middlesex area for him or her?  On the family search site a birth year of 1724 is given for him but it does not give his age on the BT.

Many thanks

Hi,

I'm also researching the Hill's from the Middlesex area's as well.
I have come across a Isabella Hill (the only one born around this time) who was christened 11th January 1723 in St Mary's Church, Stafford, Staffordshire. Her parents were Johan Hill and Janae. Possibly John & Jane.
Their was a marriage for a John Hill who married a Jane Lawrence 14th October 1713 in St Mary's Church Stafford, Staffordshire.
They had 6 children:
Josephus, Richardus, Thomas, Johannes, Isabella and Jacobus
