Hi

Try the Hull History Centre, a quick search indicates that they have a photo.

paul very interesting site you have put a lot of work into it, i do not remember any of the other streets off waterloo st nor do i remember the open water which i presume must have emptied into the river hull?. my nana lived near the cinema, and i believe relations had fruit and veg shops on waterloo street.---regards  alan

Hi Alan...If you are coming through to Hull may I suggest a visit here too...very friendly and helpful place which also has a lot of images and postcards...there is free help with research available and parish Records are held here too plus many other interesting research aids:

http://www.carnegiehull.co.uk/

I will ask this afternoon if there are any photos of Waterloo Street.
