Could someone please provide details of the marriage between
Amos Newbold & Hannah Hawkins on 25 DEC 1836 at
Edgbaston, Warwick, England.
I am unfamiliar with the churches in Edgbaston so I am unable to state in which church the marriage took place. I am looking to find details of their parents, witnesses and occupation.
Thanks,
moli

Hi Molli
Parents name's were not on certs before 1837.
But Amos and Hannah were married at St Bartholomew Edgbaston.
Witnesses are Abigail Newbold and John Lamb
Hope this helps

Hi Brummygirl,
Thank you so much for the rapid search and reply. This marriage record is my first sighting of Amos as he seemed to have evaded being "tagged" up to this point. I haven't managed to find any records establishing his existence prior to 1836. Marriage must have been good for him as he goes on to live until 1883.
I think the witness, Abigail Newbold was his sister - if I am following the correct family line. So now I have another name to use for my search.

moli
