Title: 1887/8 birth record HENDRIKS

Many thanks to JenB for confirming my HENDRIKS family in Kings Norton/Edgbaston in 1901 & 1911. It also indicates that Eileen M Lind HENDRIKS was probably born in the area in 1887/8. I have previously tried FreeBMD (nothing) and Ancestry.co.uk where the nearest candidate  is Eilsen (sic) Mary J (sic) HENDRIKE b Oct 1887 in Kings Norton. Is that likely to be her, do you think? I have tried alternative & phonetic spellings without success.

if you look at the actual image it is hendriks not hendrike

Just to add to what wozzle has said - the original image shows Eileen Mary L. Hendriks, that is undoubtedly her.
By the way, the birth is on freeBMD in exactly the same format as on Ancestry (it's where Ancestry got it from  ;) )

Thank you very much for this information. I have just tried FreeBMD again & have got it putting in Hendrike - but it didn't come up with variations of HENDRIKs even with phonetic spelling on.
