Hi all,

Wishing everyone a happy new year  Grin

I am looking for any leads re Hogg's in London area.  WILLIAM HOGG and SUSANNAH BROWN married in Yester, East Lothian on 21 July 1785. OPR states William Hogg was from St Georges Hanover Square and Susannah was from Yester. They then had a daughter SUSAN BROWN HOGG (OPR in name of Shusan Brown Hogg which took some finding... Cheesy) in Musselburgh 15 Aug 1801 which is quite some time after their marriage.  William Hogg's occupation suggested he was a merchant so they may well have gone to London in between as I have not been able to trace any other children through SP either.  Also of note ther daughter SUSAN BROWN HOGG got married in Christchurch in 1820 and spent most of her life around the Lambeth area.

Any info much appreciated.

On her marriage Susannah Brown Hogg was of the parish of St Thomas the Apostle in the City of London. One of the witnesses was Susan Hogg.
