Title: Cause of Death

Hello peoples.

I received this 1921 death certificate from a distant relative, and I wasn't sure of the name of the person that hit my ancestor.

My guess is that his name is "Edwin Harris". Anyone else?

It says Manslaughter on the bottom line, so would this guy have had a criminal record that I could get? (How would I get that?)

Have you tried newspaper archives for the locality ?    For a report of what would have been his trial ??

You seem to have searched 1900-1949 ... you should be able to narrow it down to a month or two in 1921 if it's yours. :)
