hi,
i am looking for information for a Rose Duffy b.circa 1840, i don't no were she was born but she was in nobber from 1864 to 1872 were she had 5 of her children and in 1873 the family were in kell where she gave birth to her 6th child patrick. not long after they left ireland and settled in lancashire. unfortunately rose died in 1879 aged 39 and was not included in any censuses.
the children born in nobber were hugh, john, mary, anne and james mccormick.
i was wondering if there could be any irish censuses were they might be found
any help would be appreciated

The earliest surviving complete Irish census is the one for 1901. Full civil registration started in Ireland in 1864, so to check for earlier details you will need to check if parish records are available for the area your Duffy family lived. See :

I'd say that should probably be Kells, which is a town located about 16km south west of Nobber.
