Title: LMA/Waterman & Lighterman
Post by: Darren on Sunday 18 December 11 20:57 GMT (UK)
Hi,

I'm looking for some general help, I'm thinking about visiting the London Metropolitan Archives tomorrow, am I going to the correct place for records regarding relatives that were lightermen on The Thames in the 1800's also one of them resided in Almshouses in Ditchling and I'm hoping to find some records regarding that as well?

Also, if in the correct place, how difficult might it be?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Darren

Hi Darren

You posted on the London and Middlesex Resources board which is why you post has not been answered. I'll move your post to the Main London and Middlesex board. However if you have already visited the LMA do you still need an answer?
