Hi

The only sure way would be to get one of the childrens birth certificates which would give mothers maiden name

My money is on Ann Threadgall in March 1854 at Birmingham as there was an Ann Threadgall baptised at Wingfield Suffolk on 13th July 1834 to James and Ann.
Wingfield is about a mile and half from Syleham as it is spelt today. :)
