The information on William and Hannah is very useful to myself too. I am a direct decendant of William and Hannah, Via Josiah Pailin, now my name is spelt PAILLIN. If you have found any new information since the posts I would be very grateful. I seem to have got stuck somewhat with the Pailing/Palin/Paillin tree going back much further.

Thanks

That would be great....banging my head against a brick wall as I can't get any firm data despite going to records offices years ago.

Now more and more is being improved online with transcribing, things are getting better. I have just ordered Josiah Paillin's birth certificate as I could never find the volume and page etc before.

Also locating through this post Hannah and William on the 1841 census is a bit of a break through. I have only had Hannah grandparent and Josiah aged 2 for years and years now. I also have Josiah and Elizabeths baptism record, But nothing earlier such as a Marriage certificate or birth records.

The earliest certificate I have is a death certificate for John Paling, 3rd child of Hannah and William aged 1 16th January 1843. William is a cordwainer and Hannah's maiden name is Randle on all the documents I have. They had 11 children alltogether.

I'm on Genes Reunited if you are under Julie Paillin

Hope to hear from you shortly.

Many Thanks

Julie
