I have Harold Leach born in Edenfield in march 1909 immigrated to Canada in 1921 to a brother Albert ,his nearest relative in England was Brother Thomas at(looks like) Lum or Yum cottages in Edenfield .I know from Harold's marriage that his father was Thomas Leach and mother Annie Collier but I can not find anything about them ,looked for a marriage for the parents but no luck.Any ideas where I could look next ?

I had found this family on the 1901 census and wondered the same about George A being Albert .Thanks for the Marriage I could not find one and Hannah is possible. The parents were deceased by 1921 when Harold came to Canada.

Hi,
On the original marriage register image her name was written Annie Collier and then Annie has been crossed out and Hannah written above. I also think someone wrote the fathers surname incorrectly using the street address Salter instead of Collier ::) See:

Hi,
I am unable to reply via here, but if you email me at * , I've got whole lot of information about the Leach family and what happened to their parents. My cousin is happy to chat with you too, as he knew Harold quite well.
