I attach a scan of my grand uncle Sidney James Fackrell's 19 Apr 1967 death certificate.
Can anyone decipher the hospital in the "Where and when died" column please?
I'm also having trouble with most of the words in the "Occupation" column as well as the address in the "Informant's" column!
Many thanks,
Bryan

St Olave's Hospital Rotherhithe.
The hospital has long since gone. It was on Lower Road, Rotherhithe and on a current map would cover the area where Ann Moss Way now is

Brilliant....thanks.
I won't close the post yet in case anyone can read my other queries.
Thanks again.

The address of the informant is 6, Drapper's Road, SE 16
This no longer seems to exist - perhaps it's now Drapper's Way?

This address also seems to be entered at the top of the Occupation Section.

1. In the occupation column it looks like Drappers Road SE, then the word Engineers, then something else
2. The Informants address is also 6 Drappers Road SE16
There is today a Drappers Way in SE16, I don't know though if this is the same as the former Drappers Street

I've magnified the "Occupation" column on this upload.
I don't think it's much help!?!

A wonder if it's "Engineers turner" - if there is such a job
Yep seems you do get engineering turner jobs
