I think Norman was his nephew. His sister Isabella (also known as Bella) married a Beattie whose son until recently lived in Tanderagee and was Norman Beattie. I am the grandson of his brother Robert James, former post master of Tanderagee.

Re Robert James Robinson. I have been researching Tandragee soldiers for a number of years. Robert James and Archie both served during WW1. Norman Beattie kindly provided me with a photograph of Archie Robinson in uniform. Would you have a  photograph of Robert James in Uniform?

dear Glebehill

I think my sister may well have one as she is keeper of the family photograph collection. I will enquire. I assume a scan would be enough for you?

best wishes

B Robinson
