Hi all,
I have an Emma Sims in my research who I am trying to track down. I have her in the 1861 census, in Warminster, but I believe this to be her second marriage. Would some kind soul check to see if there was an Emma Parker living in Warminster in 1851. By the way I believe she was born c 1833 also in Warminster.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry Desels. I can see no Emma Parker in Warminster in 1851. There are quite a few Parkers in the parish but no Emma. Is this her maiden name. Did she always use the name Emma? Can you tell me anything on her family? Kris :'(

Hi Kris,
Thanks for looking. All the info I have is post 1851. On the 1861 census she is shown as Emma Sims ,married to William with three daughters, the eldest two, Emily and Elizabeth have their surname recorded as Parker. They were born in 1853 and 1855 in Warminster. The third daughter, Sarah born in 1858, also in Warminster, is my wife's Great Great grandmother, hence the interest.
I am assuming Parker is Emma's married name because of her two daughters carrying that name.
That's all I have.

Hello
Not much help but on the 1851 census HO107 1670
Emma Parker, aged 17, born Warminster, servant in the house of Eldred Woodland, vicar. She is unmarried. They are living in Millbrook, Hampshire.
I don't know if its any help but also from Warminster is another servant - Charlotte Whalley
Kind regards

Hi Jill,
Thanks for the info, the age is right, so it could well be her.
Thanks again.
