Amongst the various occupations of my husb's English 3 x gt g'fthr was Revenue Police Inspector/Coastguard Northern Ireland. As far as I can work out he held this position C1835-42. I have had a researcher in Lnd check ADM 175-18 which lists all Coastguard stations & staff in Nthrn Ireland from 1827 - 1845 without result. Also I believe 6 of his 9 chn were born to him & his 2nd wife Matilda (Freeman) in Antrim during this stint : Augusta C1837, Thomas Freen C1838, Hannah 10 Sep 1839, George William C1841, Adeona Ann 5 May 1842 & Zelia 10 Mar 1844. Is there SKS who could suggest any other resources which might help confirm any of this please? Kiwirow
