The link below leads to over 200 photos of mostly Berwickshire families and places. They belonged to my grandparents Oswald Skene and Elizabeth Virtue Nelson who lived at Bogend Farm near Duns

I hope you enjoy them and if you have any questions feel free to ask though this thread.

Super pics of days gone by. Hope you have most of the names to all the people on the photo's.

Unfortunately I only know about 10% of the people there. I have tried guessing who some of the families are by looking at numbers of children etc in census results of people I know to be in my tree.
Hopefully someone might recognise someone.

Great photos. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Thanks for sharing.
Can't put a name to any of them unfortunately but the lady with the glasses in 20 and 232 looks familiar for some reason.

That's Bell Dickson and her brother Bob in 20. She lived at Chirnside as far as
I know
-
Thanks very much for that.
Still not convinced that I'm not simply mixing up two unrelated people but I'll bear that name in mind and post back here if I work out who it is that I'm thinking of or if there's a relationship.
