Hello, I'm hoping someone may be able to help. My great garndfather was Henry Alley Sythes (changed to Sides in NZ) and he was baptised 10 Aug 1862, in the Parish of Offerlane. I have his birth place as Clonan Hill, Parish of Offerlane. He was the son of George and Ellen (nee Chambers) and I think he had six siblings. George and Ellen Sythes were married in Mountmellick in 1849.
Henry and brother George emmigrated to New Zealand and settled here.
I would love to contact someone who is related to this family or who can help with any info about Henry's family.
Kind regards, Robyn
