I've tried several times to watch 'The Jury' on the iplayer, but because it is a programme apparently with some adult content, a Pin number is required. I understand I have to provide my email addy, and they will send me a Pin, but I did this two days ago, and haven't as yet heard from them. Has anyone else had this problem? Am I missing something somewhere? (That is, apart from the programme!)
I am well over 18 years old!

Are you getting this screen?
If so - you click on the left side to view without pin. Or if you want to control access you click on the right and enter a pin to stop other people accessing it (eg children). I think you just make up your own pin.
If it is showing just a page asking for a pin - perhaps you entered one perviously and forgot?
I don't recall having to register and get a pin number. I can't see anywhere that asks for an email address to fill in. Is that something you do when you first use the sight? I certainly can't see it now.

If you read the page you don't need a pin number unless you wish content to be blocked - if you want instant and uncensored access just use that side of the page - I don't know if you need blocked access - its not something I would do on such a site( it being main stream tv) even when my kids were young.but thats entirely a parental decision. if you want the site locked i have no idea but as you said you were over 18 I'd jst try that option!

Just delete your cookies and start again.....

Milly and JCB,
I don't get that 'double-sided' screen, just the one that asks for a Pin. I have deleted the cookies, but still get that same screen. It does give a space for entry of my email address in order for them to email a new Pin. Done that, but still have not had any reply. I have decided to try to view a different programme, will let you know if I still have the same problem.
Thanks for your assistance so far.

How about if you try opening it in a different browser? You could try it again using Chrome or Firefox or Internet Explorer (depending on what you use now). If you have never tried ITv player using that browser it might be OK.
Also - you are in the UK arn't you? It might be different if you are abroad.

Yes Milly,
I am in UK, and using Firefox mostly. I tried with IE, but same result. I'm wondering if my daughter may have 'had a tinker' in order to protect the grandchildren . . . .
I can get BBCiplayer fine.
Still waiting for an email from ITV.

Seems a long time to wait. Shame as the programme was quite good - although not so good I would be bothered about missing it ;D ;D

Hi
Have you checked your spam folder to make sure that the email hasn't been blocked?

I've asked for this thread to be moved over to the technical board where you are more likely to get some real help.
Sorry I can't help much as I'm not in the UK at the moment to see the screens and have a fiddle.
